A cultural compendium deserves an artistic exposition. In 2018, the society brought out the second issue of the annual literary number ‘Kolorob’ befittingly within its cultural function. The customary unwrapping ceremony was graced by the Honourable MLA of Amdanga, Rafiqur Rahaman, Shaikh Kamaluddin (Asst. Prof, Nahata Jogendra Nath Mondal Smriti Mahavidyalaya), Samrat Maitra (AT, Sadhanpur Uludanga T.R. High School), Abu Siddik Khan (Secretary, Sirat Welfare Organization) and Ahmed Sakir (Eminent Writer). Ever-affable Rezaul Haque (AT, Rampur High School) presided over the programme. Amidst exuberant presentation of songs, dances and recitation, the Society also felicitated the H.S. examinees of 17 different schools of Amdanga Block who scored 80% and above and the Graduate students who passed with 60% and above. The entire programme was adroitly anchored by Samiran Sanpui(AT, Rampur High School).

The Society avidly repeated the entire ritual in 2019 in its second cultural programme and was vociferously cheered by a jocund audience at the auditorium of Rampur High School. ‘Kolorob’ sparkled in its third outing and the dignitaries were ecstatic in admiration. Rafiqur Rahaman, Honourable MLA of Amdanga, profusely praised the Magazine. Eminent academicians voiced their appreciation about the same. They include Shaikh Kamaluddin (Asst. Prof, Nahata Jogendra Nath Mondal Smriti Mahavidyalaya), Abul Kalam (Ex-HM, Rampur High School), Nurul Haque (AHM, Amdanga K.S.H. Rahana Senior Madrasah), Sanjib Chandra Das (AT, Rampur High School), Abu Siddik Khan (Secretary, Sirat Welfare Organization), Aminul Islam (Prseident, BEDS), Sabina Yeasmin (Respected Prodhan, Amdanga Gram Panchayet) and Sadiqul Islam (academic enthusiast). Venerable poet Md. Nizamuddin (retired teacher and veteran writer) was conferred Kolorob Sahity Samman 2019. A short play ‘Aa-mori Bangla Bhasha’ (penned by Samrat Maitra and directed by Rubina Nasrin) was the icing on the cake. The programme was presided over by Rezaul Haque (AT, Rampur High School). The compere for the evening, Samrat Maitra (AT, Sadhanpur Uludanga T.R. High School), provided the appropriate synergy and sparkle to the programme.
Kolorob Coaching Unit:
Kolorob Educational and Cultural Society is uncompromising about enhancing the academic environment of Amdanga. A plethora of seemingly insurmountable odds often play spoilsport with the interest of local learners. The Society, with a zeal to buckle the trend, has arranged free tutorials for eager students. The learners have indeed acknowledged the effort and are making the most of it. Hon’ble Member of the Society Rubina Nasrin is the Convenor of this unit.
